Hello,
We came across a situation where it would be useful to filter jobs in the “Job Statistics” UI by average task time. For example, we’d like to see all jobs from a specific sequence (which we can filter via job name) where the average task time was over 10 minutes. I can’t see any way to do that using the existing filters. Is there a way to do that, or a way for me to write a script to accomplish that? I’m looking at querying the MongoDB database directly, but wanted to see if there’s an easier way that I’m missing.
Also, when sorting by average task time in “Job Statistics”, the sort order doesn’t seem to be correct. The order changes, but it still seems to be somewhat random. We haven’t been able to upgrade from Beta 18 yet since we’ve been in the middle of a project - sorry if this has been addressed since then.
Thanks.
Darren
Hey Darren,
Are you using the Edit Filter option by pressing the down arrow button at the top left of the Completed Job Statistics list? You should be able to create a filter on job name and Average Task Time to get what you need.
For the sort order problem, we did fix a general sorting issue related to this around the end of the beta, so after you get the chance to upgrade to the release version, let us know if it’s still a problem.
Thanks!
Wow, I don’t know how I missed that - I must have gone right past it when I was looking for it earlier. Sorry to bother you with that - that’s exactly what I was after!
One thing that we just noticed is that you can’t highlight multiple lines in the job statistics view - would it be a possibility in the future to allow that so we can copy/paste to a spreadsheet? CSV export functionality for lists like this would be useful too, although we can accomplish that in job and slave lists by copying and pasting to a spreadsheet.
Thanks, and sorry for the stupid question!
Darren
We should definitely fix that multi-line selection problem. We’re actually revamping the stats viewer for 6.1, which will include an export button, but being able to multiselect is important regardless.
Thanks for bringing this up!
Cheers,
