Fusion 7.7 plugin for Deadline 6.2

We have Eyeon Fusion 7.01 working with Deadline but are transitioning to BlackMagic Fusion 7.7. Our initial tests show the the submission script does not work with the newer version. I was going to go through and and update the scripts but then I thought this might have already been done by Thinkbox and I just don’t know where to download it! :slight_smile:

I did a search and found Deadline 7 support. Does this exist for Deadline 6.2?

Hey Rob, It likely doesn’t.

If you’re on support we can help get you transitioned into 7 if that’s something that seems appealing. If not, the upgrade path is pretty inexpensive

We are on support, however we have a lot of custom scripts and submission plugins for other parts of our pipeline. I remember that transitioning everything from Deadline 5 to 6 was a hefty chunk of work. So getting a fusion 7.7 plugin for deadline 6 would be preferred to upgrading all of deadline 6.2 and all of the associated custom scripts/plugins to be compatible with version 7 of deadline.

So I am assuming that our support package does not include getting a Fusion 7.7 plugin for Deadline 6.2 from you guys? If not please let me know and I can set aside some time this weekend to write my own update.

Hello Rob,

I am including the current Deadline 7.2 plugin files for Fusion, which you can back port to Deadline 6.2, but there is no official support for Fusion 7.7 in Deadline 6.2 unfortunately.
