Does the Worker and Monitor successfully connect after you see those warnings? I’d expect not, as this is similar to other problems we’ve had reported with MacOS.
We know the issue with connection.ini being denied is resolved by granting /bin/sh full disk access in the machine’s security settings, maybe the issue creating a test file is another symptom of the same failure?
Either way, giving /bin/sh extra permissions should help out here.
