Houdini 18.5 and redshift GPU affinity

Seems like GPU affinity is broken in the last couple of versions.
Trying with 10 GPU servers, multiple workers with GPU affinity but even with affinity assigned for example 0 and 1, the worker still sues 0, 1, and two more random GPUs as well… This leads to crashes when other workers try to use the same GPUs… Any idea what is going on with GPU affinity, please?

I just went sleepless nights trying to push render out… now have to get kids to kgarten and then off to work… and thi is still not working…
Only within gI managed is two workers, each with 4 GPUs, ith 12 GPUs unused and huge perfroamnce wasted due to redshift scaling… Please help, fix GPU affinity?

I’m sure this has been discussed in multiple forums (as your other post pointed out) and I have multiple tickets open with various companies on this as also face this issue with Maya. seems to be the naming convention or some other variable overriding, sure I saw a (workaround) solution on here but it would be great to have this working properly

Are the rendering done with Houdini as a hython job? Or a exported rs file rendered with Redshift command line?

There are multiple posts about this issue for past a year or even more.
Deadline was among first managers to proeprly support redshift and GPU affinity… I know as I was posting issues when RS was in early beta and for the most time, everything was working fine. Recently there are multiple issues, taht are not necessarily deadline team fault, like changes that redshift is implementing BUT, I was hoping for a bit more proper response from deadline stuff.

So now months after there are still issues with deadline and redshift GPU affinity,
Houdini tiling was mentioned so many times but no one even addresses it at all…

At this point after years of deadline I’m honestly considering to see what other managers have to offer :(((

Is there anyone from stuff that can properly address these issues, put a pinned post and see what can be done about this because these are show stoppers.
Just 2 days ago I wasted a whole night and money on a rented additional 10 GPU server to get some rendering done and due to the deadline GPU affinity problem I wasted both, money, sleepless night,s and lost the day after as I was so tired… This is affecting a lot of people and needs to be addressed.
