I just installed deadline and tried to submit my first Houdini job. Unfortunately there is no submission script for Houdini 18 so I tried to submit with Monitor. I want to render the node named mantra1 in the out context. In the Monitor Submit Houdini Job To Deadline window where it askes for the Render Node I put out/mantra1. it failed with an error saying couldn’t find out/mantra1.
Is this not the correct way to submit a Houdini render?

thanks for the reply! I found this update already. I was looking for an updated integrated submitter installer file that included houdini18.
this one: Houdini-submitter-windows-installer.exe

currently does not include houdini 18
I got it working by following these directions:

in case step 2 is confusing to anyone else using windows, you can paste %localappdata%\Thinkbox\Deadline[VERSION] into your file browser to get the path that goes in the .xml file
