Hi,
we’re running DL 10.0.20.2 and Houdini 16.5. I realize that the Job output/explore job output are missing in the monitor. Frames render fine, so not a big problem. But I hope that’s a feature you can add back in - unless there’s another way to get it back?
Thanks!
We’re only able to add it if we know where the output will be. Does the job represent a ROP that doens’t have a specific output path in the node?
Also, which ROP type the job running for?
Hi,
it’s a regular Mantra ROP, with just the Output image set. Due to licenses the job is rendered from the generated IFD files though.
Actually, never mind… I don’t know why, but all Houdini jobs only showed “search for output” in the Monitor. But a restart fixed the problem. Now all, even the old jobs, list the output correctly. I had some issues with some wrong Python environment variables that also were fixed on the workstation, so perhaps it was tied up to that.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Glad it’s working. If you ever figure out what happened, come on back here and tell us the story.
