In Houdini, I found that I can use additional Deadline ROPs to modify the settings from upstream Mantra nodes. For example, I can interject a frames-per-task, or different pools/groups (which is helpful if I want to render both a Mantra and a Redshift node in one go). However, the these in-between Deadline ROPs also stomp on the frame range which is very undesirable. Is there a way to modulate which parameters the in-between Deadline ROPs control, or disable ones I don’t want them to set?
Ideally I’d love the Deadline ROP to create a Deadline tab on each upstream render ROP, and allow me to optionally control any pertinent settings. But that’s an RFE for another time.
