Houdini renders 3delight scene not using the full CPU threads

Hello, I am experiencing some weird stuff, I am rendering my 3delight scene via Deadline Submitter and when rendered I can see that the task is only performed over 12 to 16 threads and not my full 128 on the render node.
Where can I uncap that value ?
H 19.5 + Deadline 10.2.1.1 / Linux

Thanks for reaching out. I need some more information to look into it:

  • How did you check that the render used 12 - 16 threads, please share the details of your test.
  • Are you setting CPU affinity for the Worker? Check in Deadline Monitor> Worker in question> Right Menu> CPU Affinity> Is the override option checked off?
  • Are you running more than one Worker on this render node?

Hello,
I am checking my resources monitor and I see only 12 to 16 threads ranking up to 99%. When running a manually triggered render I have my 128 threads maxed out to 99%.
Will check the affinity later today. No only one worker per node.
