How to capture MentalRay errors in 3D Studio Max

Hi,



How can I review the console output created by MentalRay. I think MR is generating some errors just on some clients, and not others. How can I capture this and catch it happening.



I’m using 3ds 8.0.

Hi Mathew,



Check this file on each slave machine:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3dsMax8\network\Max.log



I think mental ray writes its console output there.

I knew it was somewhere, thanks.



Could it be possible for Deadline to check this log file for MR errors.



Also, as another feature request. Would it be possible for post-render scripts to tell Deadline that a task has failed.
