We recently installed the newest version of deadline but it seems that the jobs or any settings never carried over. When installing the new repository I connected to the old one as was the default in the installation but it doesn’t look like it worked.
The only way I found out so far is to archive your jobs from dl7 and then import them in dl8 :>.
As is detailed in our Major Upgrade docs (docs.thinkboxsoftware.com/produc … downgrades) there is not upgrade path between major versions. We do offer the Import Settings feature, which was originally broken in 8.0.0.69, but was fixed in 8.0.1.0. For jobs, the idea of archiving from 7 and then importing to 8 is possible, but it is not something we have tested, so we cannot attest to it’s viability. If you have jobs on your 7 farm, we advise leaving some machines there to complete that work, then moving them to 8 when the work is done.
