http proxy for render farm slave (in order to use metered licensing)

Hi! All:

First time here. We running both Deadline 6 & 7.

I rather not connect our render farm slave directly to Internet. Is it possible to use some form of proxy (http proxy or VPN) in order to use metered licensing?

Hi Dennis,

There is an option for a local license server (LLS) that does exactly this, and we’re currently working with Flexera to get it configured correctly so that we can pass it along to our users. Our goal is to make this available in the next month or so.
