I need render with Mental ray, but in deadline not work

I am try render MR with Deadline 3.0, but at the moment not work, maya software ok.
  Deadline Version: 3.0.33353

I need help.

Hi Felipe,

According to the error message, mental ray cannot find a license. See here for more details:

This Maya error simply means that mental ray for maya cannot find a license. In order for mental ray to find a license, you need to have a registered (and licensed) copy of Maya on each render node. This is a requirement of the mental ray renderer, unlike mayaSoftware which does not require a registered version of Maya on each machine.

Basically, the copy of Maya needs to be registered (which I believe is taken care of when you launch Maya for the first time), and then it needs to be able to access a license during rendering.

Actually, I’m not 100% sure if it has to be fully registered, but it definitely needs to be able to access a license.

i have solve that problem, you just need to make autowork about the render computur,and donot watch it in remote.

Hi Alex, yes maya mental ray licensing scheme prevents you to watch computer using Microsoft Remote Desktop while rendering, otherwise you will get the message that mental ray cannot get license…that message will appear even if all the nodes are normally licensed

However, if you use other VNC type of remote connection like RealVNC for example, there are no such issues. We had that issue in the past.
