Idle Shutdown

Hello!

The “Idle Shutdown” seetting worked fine until we put the render nodes to a different subnet (server: 192.168.2.10, rendernode: 192.168.128.x). Now Deadline is still able to wake up the clients but not to shut them down. Any ideas?

Hi Tim,

Are you able to remote start/stop the Slave application from a Monitor over the different subnets? This uses the same protocol as the idle shutdown feature, so if one works, the other should work as well. Let us know!

Hi Ryan,

We found the error. The server has two different IP adresses; Pulse only connects to the first. We changed the order, now everything works again.
