Is it currently possible to prevent the client installer from trying to add a login event to start the launcher on Darwin?
If not, can support for this please be added?

Try “–launcherstartup false”. Other args discoverable via “–help”.
Yeah, I tried that, but the installer still tries to run osascript at the end to create a login item. The installer options make it sound like that option is Windows-only as well.
That’s what I was afraid of. Ryan just juggled a ticket around that I think covered that.
