I downloaded the latest Krakatoa installer from the website. But when I go to run it, it seems to show options for installing in MAX2010/2011 and MAX2012 but does not show the option for installing in MAX2013 or MAX2014. When I finally found the documentation for how to add Krakatoa to other MAX installs via the Start menu… it says 2013 not supported when I try to point it to the MAX directory.
Am I missing the secret decoder ring? Is there some other installer somewhere I’m missing?

Hmmm… I found some other scattered documentation that seems to mention a Krakatoa 2.1whatever installer. The one on the download link is a 2.0whatever.
Is the link broken? Is there another link to the proper latest version?

Latest available version is 2.1.8. It is considered public beta and can be downloaded from here:

This version supports Max 2013, and by extension can be used in 2014, but the installer does not support 2014 automatically.
The procedure for installing the 2013 plugin in 2014 is outlined here:

That being said, the real 2.2.0 release was uploaded to the Beta forum for the Beta testers to check out, and we hope to release it in the coming weeks. It fixes a few further known issues we found in 2.1.8 and adds a few NEW FEATURES, so an updated 2.2 license file will be required. Its installer will support Max 2014 directly.
