Hello,
I want to run Krakatoa on 2014, lots of cool stuff there! So I found the blog entry, but it only works for loading up the installed 2013 versions in 2014, you need an existing 2013 installation. Any workaround?
Thanks!

I am pretty sure that you can install Krakatoa with all files copied, but not added to 2013. In other words, you do a regular install, but the checkbox for adding to 3ds Max 2013 plugin.ini will be unchecked because you don’t have it. Once all files are copied, you locate the plugin.ini of 2014 and type in the path to the MaxKrakatoa.DLR manually.
Did you try these steps and where did you fail?
Ha! My bad, I didn’t think I can click the button once all the max version were grayed out Thanks, it works!
