Iridas MetaRender

Hi Ryan,

i have a question regarding Iridas new software “MetaRender” : iridas.com/metarender/

We have a new grading station running Speedgrade DI which can send it´s timeline to MetaRender for final rendering (commandline). Of course we want this to run through Deadline, not only because we can monitor progress and renderfarm utilization, but also because we are running pulse and they would probably be shut down because of being “idle”.

We noticed that there is an existing plugin for Iridas “SequencePublisher” which basicly is the same thing then MetaRender (metarender is the sucessor).

I just wanted to make sure that you guys are not planing to updat that plugin in the next weeks or so to support metarender…?
(it would obviously save us a lot of headaches…).

Hi Timor,

Deadline 3.1, which should be released around the end of March, will fully support MetaRender. We are still beta testing Deadline 3.1, if you’re interested:

We´ve been in the Beta already but we are currently too busy, thank you for the offer though…
We just wait for the final release and bite our fingernails till then in excitement :wink:
