Is it possible to run Deadline Database in a 2-core machine?

We do small freelance work from home and we have between 2 and 4 computers at home that we use for rendering. We would like to have a small dedicated machine to run the Deadline Database 24/7 that way we don’t have to worry about leaving one of our workstations on all the time.

We have been looking at the Intel NUC that comes with a 2 core i3 processor.
Will this be enough to run the Deadline Database since we will not have many render nodes and just 2 users?

Many thanks!

The bigger issue will likely be RAM and Disk. MongoDB is mostly a read-and-filter sort of access pattern so I’d make sure the NUC has an SSD and about 8GB of RAM. The more RAM, the faster it can return the common queries to a certain point.

I think for only four machines you can likely go lower for the RAM and disk requirements, but I’d rather not recommend it.
