I would like to ask if is possible to install deadline on professional Synology NAS and run allserver application like fileserver directly from synology. Because now i dont understand if deadline install only repository folder or also file server and som app on server side, because synology has its own fileserver application so i dont need to have separate machine running, but only synology diskstation.

Deadline 6 has two components: the file-based repository and the database:

The repository can be installed on any file server system, so that should work fine on your NAS.
However, I’m not sure about the database. We use mongodb for the database, and while it is listed as a package for Synology, it’s only available in 32 bit:
packages.synology.me/spkrepo/spkrepo/packages
We don’t support the 32 bit version of mongodb, since it has a 2GB limit for your database size. Would it be an option to install the database on a separate 64 bit machine?
