Has anyone had issues with mila/mental ray
these are some of the fatal errors I threw up:
Unrecognized node type ‘nodeGraphEditorInfo’; preserving node information during this session.
‘miDefaultOptions.message’ is already connected to ‘mentalrayItemsList.options’.
‘miDefaultFramebuffer.message’ is already connected to ‘mentalrayItemsList.framebuffers’.

My thought on this one is that they can be harmless. The issue we saw on the call that was a show stopper was licensing fun a bit further down the log. If anyone does have advice on how to fix these errors though, let us know. I’m my usual state of curious.
Haha Edwin, knew it would be you who would have responded!! Yes you are right they were harmless. I did in fact find out why all the computers went haywire…housecleaning was not setup on the slaves for some reason and the log files created by deadline filled the HDD to capacity rendering (pardon the pun) macs useless. This in turn just messed everything up. After we spoke, I completely wiped the slave computer you had looked at and only installed the client, Maya, and Mental Ray, reset the IP and BAAAAMM rendering like a pro. Thanks for your help, you guys are awesome!!! I will still milk the Beta license, but I think I have made the case and you guys have rightfully earned our business! P.S. Edwin you are a freakin rock star!!
Thanks
If it fills up again, we should try and figure out why. Right now, we default to storing 30 days of render logs if I’m remembering right. Might be worth brining it down to 3 days for you guys.
Even that filled it up to 1 TB, so I am storing for the day and dumping the log files, unfortunately having issues with ext 2 and mental ray yet again!!
