Jobs remain queued & won't render

Hi,

Since updating to the latest version of Deadline, I’m having issues with the jobs staying queued and not rendering.

I’ve checked the job options and there are no machine blacklists.

Right-clicking on the jobs in Monitor and selecting ‘Find Render Candidates’ shows the workers as ‘Able to Render’.

The jobs have been submitted to the correct pool and have not been submitted as suspended.

All machines are running the same version of 3DS Max (2022 with the latest updates applied) and using V-ray for rendering.

As a test, I’ve also submitted a simple teapot scene using Arnold to render and an After Effects project. Both of these remain queued too.

All was working fine in the previous version, so I’m totally mystified why this is happening now. Any help very much appreciated

Many thanks,

Andy

RESOLVED

Just responding to my own thread, as I’ve now resolved this issue. It was, of course, user error on my part

When I installed the latest update to the repository, I installed it to the default location (C:/Deadline Repository) but my previous repository was located on the F: drive. Once I uninstalled the latest update and reinstalled to the F drive, everything started to work again!

Just thought I’d put this here in case someone else makes the same mistake I did in the future.

All the best,

Andy
