Is there a way to specify a license path through an INI instead of the registry? It’s easier to maintain plugins through a shared Network Repository than it is to try and keep everything up to date. Everything seems to work from a network path except for specifying our license server path. Any thoughts?
Probably the best way would be to point the registry value to a file in that network share, then within that file have a single line which reads "SERVER ". FlexLM should be able to use that information to find out what server to connect to to check out a license. At least, I’m pretty darn sure that’ll work. Most of our apps will automatically discover the license server (Krakatoa included) so it makes it very hard to test over here.
