Krakatoa MX 2.1.1.47356 64-bit plugin dll error

Hi,

I am working with 3dsmax 2013 and i recently installed the Krakatoa MX 2.1.1.47356 plugin. Im running windows 7 proffesional 64-bit. I have several problems with it.

I can,t uninstall the plugin. I keeps rolling back when i try to remove it. When its installed it doesn,t load the dll file. I manually added the folders to the .ini file from max and now he tries to load the plugin, but it tells me it failed to initialize. Error code 14001. Now i read on te website that it had something to do with installing on a network computer, but i installed it on the pc im working on. And the second option was to
install the visual studio 2008 SP1, but to install that you need visual studio first.

Im a little bit stuck here. I can,t uninstall the plugin and can’t run it. Please help me

The Krakatoa 2.1.0 & 2.1.1 installers both have an issue where they will not uninstall correctly. We have posted uninstall scripts here: thinkboxsoftware.com/krakato … ort-files/

Sorry about that!

I’ve since found a simpler solution: Microsoft Fixit is a tool that can forcibly remove programs that have errors in their uninstall process. Here is a link: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9775982. Just follow the prompts for uninstalling a program and choose Krakatoa from the list.
