I’m trying to recreate my layout from Deadline 7. I make use of a lot of tabs and I was able to add a name to them in 7 by editing the “Filter Name”. But when I do the same thing in 8 the name doesn’t get displayed on the tab unless I actually activate a filter.
So is there a way to name the tabs without adding a filter?
Thanks
It also looks like when I save my layout that the tab names don’t transfer over when I load my layout into another machine’s Monitor.
EDIT:
It actually looks like the filters weren’t carried over.
We’re seeing the same thing. Layouts don’t seem to be working for us at all, with it not saving column layout or filters.

Hey guys, the next rolling build of deadline should have this fixed, so look for that in the next week or so.
Hi,
It looks like the new update has mostly fixed the issue. The thing I am noticing how though is that it’s not refreshing the filters automatically. ie when a job completes in a tab that has completed jobs hidden the job remains visible, to hide the newly completed job you have to open the filters then click the ‘Completed’ quick filter on and then off to get it to update.

Hey Nick,
Can you see if this is still a problem in the latest, 8.0.7.3 for me? I think some code changes have come in recently which should fix this.
