licence server problem

Hi,

We have 14 node licences but I cant seem to get Deadline to 'remember' a PC that I shutdown and restarted, it's telling me that the maximum fr the licence has been reached. I think it thinks that the machine is still connected and is not releasing the node licence for renewal.

Is there a way to force this?

Sorry if this is a stupid question!

This is a problem which appears to be common to most programs which use flexlm. We encounter it occasionally with our 3ds Max licenses, for instance. The way to fix it is to restart the license server, either by rebooting the machine, or stopping and starting the particular flexlm service.
