The manual states:
“The License Forwarder must not run on the same machine as a Deadline Slave or a license server as port binding conflicts will occur otherwise.”
Is there a way around this? It’s for redshift farm and for a lot of jobs a single 4 or 8 gpu EC2 instance is plenty of horse power so I’d like to have it all run on 1 machine. with the CPU and mem that comes with these instances it will have plenty of spare time to manage all the stuff while rendering on the GPU.
