Logging Render Time

Hello

We need to track all of the rendering time our render clients are running so that we can charge it on accordingly to our clients. Currently we keep the Jobs in the Monitor window and have to manually add up the total Elapsed Time values. We don’t appear to be able to export this data to Excel or SQL.

It would be brilliant if we could set the project or client when submitting a Job and there be a way of viewing the render times, including totals, using filters such as by client, by project, between dates etc.

Are there any suggestions for a better way to achieve this currently (using 5.0).

Hey Chris,

You could turn on Statistics Gathering to collect this info:

The statistics stick around even after the job is deleted. In 5.1, we added the option to store stats in a postgres database, so you could write your own queries to parse the data.
