Hello There,



I’m getting the following error when I try to run the SubmitMaxToDeadline script through Max 2008.



–Unknown property “getRespositoryList” in undefined



Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi Chris,



Can you post step by step description of what you have done before getting the error, including the installation steps to get the Submitter into Max? The action item responsible for the start of the Deadline Submitter is a short script which loads all necessary files and then opens the real Macro that builds the GUI. If anything goes wrong during this process, it should pop up a general error report message. It almost sounds like you somehow bypassed the loader and tried to open the submitter GUI without loading all libraries first.



The loader is located in the Deadline category of the Customize UI dialog and should be called “Submit To Deadline 2.7”, but you have to evaluate it once manually for it to appear there, as described in our Online Manual.



Also, I assume you have installed the patch for Max 2008 in your repository before trying to run the Submitter from Max 2008.



Any additional details would be very helpful.

Have you downloaded the 3dsmax 2008 patch from our forum? If not, you

can find it here:

The patch includes an update to the submission script, so if you haven’t

installed it already, that might be the solution to your problem.

Let me explain what happened.

Our Deadline Repository (and licence server) machine died, so had to be rebuilt.

Before this everything was working just fine, but after the Deadline Repo was rebuilt, I started to get the described error.



I have tried re-installing the SubmitMaxToDeadline.mcr but it won’t work - I’ve tried deleting every instance of it and re-installing but that doesn’t work either.

Okay - I figured it out - just to let you know.

I needed to delete the old Submission script called Frantic-SubmitMaxToDeadline.mcr which was here:



C:\Documents and Settings*user*\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\2008 - 64bit\enu\UI\usermacros



…then I re-ran the script as per the tutorial.
