Hi,
up until now our workstations and rendernodes are running Windows. Our projects files are stored on a network share which is accessed via a drive letter on Windows.
Now we want to switch the renderfarm to Linux. I configured “Mapped Paths” in the Deadline settings to remap the Windows drive letter to the correct mount point under Linux. Maxwell render now is able to load the MXS for rendering so it seems that the path mapping is configured correctly. But when Maxwell is starting to render it tries to load all dependencies from the Windows drive letter which obviously fails. It does work when using UNC path in Windows.
Is this just not possible with Maxwell or am I missing anything here? I just want to check before we switch everything over to UNC.
Cheers, Florian
