Hey we keep getting this error when rendering a maya 2010 file.
Exception during render: An error occurred in RenderTasks(): GetBooleanConfigEntry: Could not parse value for key LocalRendering into a boolean because GetConfigEntry: Script accessed non-existent config key LocalRendering (Deadline.Plugins.RenderPluginException) (Deadline.Plugins.RenderPluginException)
at Deadline.Plugins.ScriptPlugin.RenderTasks(Int32 startFrame, Int32 endFrame, String& outMessage)

Which version of Deadline are you running? The patch on our forum for Maya 2010 support is only for Deadline 3.1 SP1 (the latest version). If you installed this patch to a previous version, or haven’t installed it at all, that could explain the error.

maya .mb file with final gather in local system taking 20 to 40 min per frame the same file in deadline its taking time to more then 1 hr ( in this time i give project directory to render system local then all so time taking ) can u help me out in this
What happens when you take out the final gather? Do the render times match up better? This would be a good check to confirm that the final gather is the cause of the extra time.
If it is the final gather, is it being cached prior to submitting the job to Deadline? If not, it’s likely that cache needs to be generated for each frame, which would explain the extra render time involved.
If you have a final gather cache on the network already, make sure that your project and output directories are network paths, and that the Local Rendering option is disabled when submitting the job.
