Hi

Im testing out rendering a scene from mentelray maya 2011 through deadline. im getting this error in the job monitor:

Exception during render: An error occurred in RenderTasks(): Error in PostRenderTasks(): Verification failed because source directory /Users/selim/Deadline/slave/jobsData/mayaOutput_temp46AXN0 is empty!
at Deadline.Plugins.ScriptPlugin.RenderTasks (Int32 startFrame, Int32 endFrame, System.String& outMessage) [0x00000] in :0

Also in the plugin configuration, do i choose maya batch or mayacmd? whats the difference?

That would imply that no output is actually being saved by Maya. As a quick test, disable Local Rendering in the submitter when submitting the job. Deadline won’t run this verification check in this case.

When you submit the job, you can choose to “Use MayaBatch” or not.
