Maya Submission(Huge maya scenes) ....... Slow process "Searching for assets..."

Hi,

I have experienced with an “issue”. I have some huge maya scenes with lots of referenced mb files and standins.
When I submit this kind of maya scenes to Deadline, I noticed that there is a slow process happening which is called… “Searching for assets”. In some cases, it cost me 1x-2x mins for submitting 3-4 render layers. Deadline did the “asset searching for each layers”.

I just wonder why deadline will do this asset searching, even I haven’t clicked the “Use Local Asset Caching”. Or there is another purpose about this “asset searching” process.

Any way to speed up this process?

Is this from the script editor? Seems like it is getting this option enabled from the render global settings in Maya. Please share a screenshot of the settings. There might be an option to enable verbose logging of melscript listener. Please enable that and share the script editor/listener log again.
I think if there’s a lot of Network assets found which are required at the time of render Maya needs to put them in a file when this options is checked.
Is the render process slow too? Please share the job report in question.

The above is the log in the script editor after I press the Submit.
“Use Local Asset Caching” is unpicked in the UI.
My render is fine and normal.
