Maya + Vray + Layers -> quick draft movie not working

Hi Guys,

I’m new to deadline, and I’m using Maya 2016.5 + Vray 3.14.
Deadline is working fine on our little farm, but I have an issue when I use the Maya plugin and try to create a movie using the “Submit Draft Job On Completion” . The movie is not created because it can’t find the rendered images : I have render layers (legacy) and my passes (render elements) are saved in separate folders. The post command to create movies is not looking for images in the layers folders and its subfolders…
Any ideas how to fix this?

This sounds familiar. Which version of Deadline are you using? If it’s not the latest version (8.0.14) we should get you updated.

If you are on the latest version, does exploring the output folders work in the job’s right-click menu?

No, we are not using the latest version. I’m on 7.2
I’ve tried the right-click menu / Explore Output and it doesn’t work. Monitor shows me the path but if I click on it says that “Output location does not exist”

That puts us into a bit of a tight spot as fixes aren’t being rolled out to 7.2 anymore, and I’m not really sure if it’ll work to shoe horn the newer scripts. Do you know if you folks are on support and able to upgrade?
