Having a problem where trying to submit a vRay (Night build 11591) scene in maya from the shelf tool submitter gives the “Animation checkbox must be on…” error, regardless of whether or not it is checked off in the render globals. Using Deadline 3.1. Is it time to update to 4.0? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Your best bet is to join the 4.1 beta program and use that version. We’ve recently made tweaks to the latest version of the Maya submitter to deal with this exact problem (we’re running a nightly build here as well). More information about joining the beta can be found here:

Beta 4.1 has resolved the submission error using Vray Night build 11591. Its rendering just fine now. Thank you for all your great work. Will continue giving feedbacks.
