Is anyone else experiencing Maya2013 hanging right as soon as maya loads? I’m getting sometimes 5 to 10 minute “Waiting For Maya” hang times…

Does the same thing happen if you disable the “Use MayaBatch” option? In that case, Deadline is just doing a command line render using Maya’s Render.exe executable. If that shows the same behavior, you can then grab the command line arguments from the job’s log and try the same command outside of Deadline. At the very least, this should help determine if the problem is specific to Deadline or not.
