Modo tasks hangs

Hi,

When rendering multiple Modo tasks (could be animation or tiles) on our farm every render node will after a short while start to hang.
With “hang” i mean the progress bar stays at 0% and the CPU utilization on 0%. There it stays until the slave (not machine) is restarted. It always happens at the beginning at the job - never in the middle or anywhere else at the staus progress - always at 0%.

  • altering the job to restart the plugin between task doesn’t make any difference
  • doing chunks of 1 or 5 frames makes no difference.
  • never had the problem with Maya, doing similar setups.

Anyone else had this problem?

Any suggestions for what to try to fix this?
