I had an artist resubmit some of his tasks for a job so that it created a new job with those tasks. But the only problem was that the job never showed up in the jobs list. But Monitor showed that the tasks were rendering on the slaves. I decided to restart my Monitor to see if it refreshed. When I did I got the following error in the console:
2014-03-12 12:47:54: Error occurred while updating job cache: Value was either too large or too small for a Single. (System.OverflowException)
Also, I now have no jobs in my Jobs tab. Every time I restart I get the same error and the same result.
This warning also just popped up:
2014-03-12 12:50:32: WARNING: disabling profiling because of error begin profiling section twice without ending the first one (Job Importer).
Update:
Seems like this is happening on all machines. When new jobs are submitted they show up. But all of the completed and suspended jobs are now gone from the jobs list. I tried restarting the repository machine. That had no effect.
Update #2:
If Anyone closes their Monitor they lose any jobs that were previous in their jobs list. As long as they keep the Monitor open, any new jobs submitted will stay in there.
Which version of Deadline are you running? If it’s 6.2 beta 1 (6.2.0.11), try upgrading to 6.2 beta 2 (6.2.0.13) and see if it helps. This looks like a problem that we fixed in 6.2 beta 2.

I was just checking to see if there was a new version. Quick question before I upgrade. Do I have to install the repository as well? Or just the client?
If you have automatic upgrades enabled in your repository options, you only need to upgrade the repository. See the minor upgrade docs for more details:

Got it. Seems like the upgrade fixed things.
Thanks!
