Hey guys. Noticing an issue with Monitor not updating job status’ on Refresh or Refresh All. I have to click on each job individually for it to update from Queued to Complete. Then when I restart the Monitor the jobs show as Queued again until I click on them.
Pulse is running. Any idea what could be causing this?
Seems like a lot of other things are getting stuck too.
Slaves are showing as rendering when they’re not or rendering jobs that are different than what they’re currently running.
Is the issue with refreshing the job status again, or is it just the slave list? I should note that the slaves only update their state every 20-40 seconds, and depending on your Repository Scan Interval for Pulse in the Repository Options, that could offset it even more. What value is this currently set to?
I have the same here.
I need to refresh Tasks, jobs and Slave by hand to know how much work is done with who and how much time i need to wait to see my render finished.
Slaves and monitor are Pulse connected.
In repository options , Waiting time is 10 secondes for repository scan interval in pulse settings / general .
When you say “by hand”, does that mean you’re clicking the Refresh button in the main toolbar, or that you have to right-click on the jobs and slaves and refresh each individual one? Pulse is just meant to speed up refreshes, so you still have to manually click the Refresh button. I just want to make sure what you’re seeing is normal or not. Also, tasks don’t come from Pulse, so the only way to refresh those is to refresh the job that they belong to.
So for example. I just got in. The Deadline Monitor shows 94 queued jobs and 80 slaves rendering. Refresh and Refresh All doesn’t change anything.
When I click once on the first job though it instantly changes from Queued to Completed. Then the next and the next and so on until I get through all 94 jobs which now all show as Completed.
The slave list however still reports all 80 slaves rendering. Clicking once on them does nothing. Clicking Refresh All or Refresh all Slaves does nothing. Right clicking on one and selecting Refresh Slave switches it to idle.
You guys should be getting a call from one of our technicians soon to try and get to the bottom of this. We received a new ticket from Diganta, and we’ll be using the contact info there to contact you.
