I installed Repository, which installed MongoBD. I created two passwords during the installation. Now when my computer wakes up or boots, the Repository wants a PASSPHRASE. None of the passwords from installation work. At any rate, it’s worth a re-think before continuing…
I have my main graphic computer and seven other computers I want to be workers. I did the install and the issues are with on my main graphics computer. Before trying to fix the issue, I’m wondering if what I tried to do was even the correct decision. I’ll be here in my studio almost every time I use the local render farm I’m trying to set up. Possibly, I’ll be at my vacation property with only my main graphics computer and want to launch rendering on the farm back home. With that in mind, I’m wondering if I should have installed Repository and Mongo on my main machine. Should I have installed it on one of the machines that stays here? Perhaps I should uninstall what I started and re-try on a computer that stays here. If so, repository shows up as a program and Mongo as a service. Not sure how to uninstall a service.
So what should I do to achieve my rendering home/away goals and if having it all on my main computer is fine, how do I fix the PASSPHRASE issue?
Thanks.
