my repository database is too big how can i clean the database?

The logs can get fairly large. Try cleaning out the “mongo/data/logs” folder and see if that helps.
If you’re on Windows, you can enable folder compression as well. Performance will be affected both due to increased fragmentation and the decompression process, but you likely have enough headroom if your farm is less than a few hundred machines. You’ll want to stop the database service before this though as MongoDB keeps those files mapped to memory at all times I believe.
