Need help setting up a farm with a variety of specs

So I’ve got an existing Maya/Redshift farm that has 2x 1080ti machines and I just added newer machines that have 4x2080ti.
I would like to divide the job so that the 2x1080ti machines have one task and the 4x2080ti machines have 2 concurrent tasks. I can easily submit the job so that all machines have 2 concurrent tasks, but I don’t know how to make it so that the slower machines have 1 task and the faster machines have 2.
Is there a way to do this that doesn’t involve scripting (which won’t happen)?

Thanks.

Jon

Right click on Worker and select Worker Properties.
There is a configuration Concurrent Task Limit Override, which can be set per machine.

Hi.

From our experience couple years back, I do not recommend concurrent task with Redshift. We ran into problem that the 2 jobs were sharing the same cache pool and they kept deleting each others cache, causing incorrect renders in most cases and endless loop in some cases.
