Network question

Hi, we need to change our network setup, we are running out of ip adresses and we need to setup 2 local network.



Network A - 192.168.2.xxx

Network B - 192.168.3.xxx



The Workstations (Submit and Render) will be on Network A

The Deadline server and the renderfarm will be on Network B



Routing done by the switches (wirespeed)



Do you think we can run into trouble with Deadline? Will deadline be able to see all the machines? Will Deadline run into broadcast problems?

Hi Sylvain,



You shouldn’t run into any problems, as long as all IP addresses and machine names are unique. In fact, this is basically the type of setup we use here.
