We are using deadline client v2.7.29178. We have two slaves and our repository is mounted on an Apple OSX share. I am attempting to add slaves to our 3dsmax pool, however when I right click on that pool I am not given the modify pool option to assign slaves to that pool and no slaves or other network nodes appear available to be added to a pool, despite the fact that when I poll the deadline network all my slaves show up as online and are pointed to the correct repository.

Hi John,
To assign pools to slaves, you have to right-click on the slave(s) in the slave list in the Monitor while in super user mode. The Manage Pools dialog is used for creating and removing pools, and the slave list there is to give you a quick glance of which slaves are in which pool (so you don’t accidentally delete a pool that is still in use).
Are the slaves appearing in the slave list in the monitor? If the slave list isn’t displayed, you can toggle it back on by selecting View -> Info Panels -> Slaves List.
