Nuke Deadline submission error

Hi all,

Having a bit of trouble getting integrated Nuke submission script working. Nukev7.08, Deadline 6, windows 7.

I have got it working in Nuke (appears in the right menu, in the right place etc) but when I run it I get an error saying that it cant find the SubmitNukeToDeadline.py.

As you can see from the image I have changed the Nuke message dialogue to include the path that it is trying to use.
You can see from the explorer window that the script is in the right location,
The slave is also connected to the correct repository, and the environment variable has been set correctly at installation.

I realize that the slashes appear to be the wrong way, but if i try to change it in the script, it doesn’t run.
I have reinstalled deadline client several times, but nothing works!

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Matt

Can you restart Nuke, and then before trying to run the submission script, can you open the Script Editor panel in Nuke? You can do this by right-clicking on any of the tabs in the Nuke UI. After the Script Editor panel is open, try running the script, and information should be logged to the top window in the Script Editor (see screen shot).

If you can send us the text in the script editor window, that would be great!

fixed it!!!

when i opened the script editor and ran the submission, it highlighted a couple of lines that i added to the submission script.

I’m saving the Nuke frame rate in an extraInfo attribute, so that when my quicktime generator starts it always has the correct frame rate.

But when i copied the lines from my deadline 5 script, i added an extra indentation - schoolboy error!!

thanks for your help.
