OpenEXR 2.0 Deep Data

I was wondering, would it be possible to implement OpenEXR Deep Data support for the Krakatoa renderer? This would make it so much easier to deal with matte objects and Krakatoa renders in comp. Vray 3.0 supports this and not only that but we could use it in combination with other software that outputs deep data. I realize it won’t give you shadows etc. but in a lot of cases with Krakatoa renders you don’t really need that.

It is on our To Do list, but it won’t be trivial.
