i installed mono latest build osx 10.5.6 latest update when i go to install i get an error once the progress bar gets to the end any ideas thanks
Which version of Mono did you install? Deadline is only supported on the latest version of the 2.6.x releases. If you installed Mono 2.8, try downgrading to 2.6.7 to see if that helps.
If it doesn’t, can you send us the installer log? Run the installer and wait until you see this error, then select Window -> Installer Log in the Installer menu. Then change the drop down to Show All Logs.
Thanks,

was 2.6 ill go down to 2.2 an see thanks for the speedy reply
here is the error
Thanks for the log. I’ve seen this problem before, and it is usually related to Mono and OSX 10.5.x (we have yet to see this problem on 10.6.x). It doesn’t affect everyone running 10.5.x (we even have a 10.5.x machine here that works fine), and we can’t find the cause for it. Since Deadline is pretty much installed when this error occurs, we can run a test to see if it’s the Mono problem I’m referring to.
Open a terminal on the Mac machine, and run this command:
/Applications/Deadline/Resources/bin/deadlinecommand UpdatePathVariable
If you get an error, please post the full dump of the error message from the terminal. I’m expecting you to get a TypeInitializationException which refers to System.Drawing.KnownColors.
Thanks!
