Packet Errors

Hello, I am getting this error on the farm a lot. Was wondering if I needed to tweak some settings with the repository. Thanks.

I get this too occasionally, and when it happens the whole frame is lost which can push a render delivery back an hour or two. Very interested to hear if there’s a solution.

Hi guys,
This is actually a really old error/bug and we spent quite a bit of time playing with this internally recently. We believe we have it fixed (tweaked a couple of settings within the c++ of Lightning) and this fix shipped in beta 1 of Deadline v7.1 (beta 2 released yesterday) which is currently just started up in private beta for existing customers to try and verify if it’s all sorted. Our internal testing showed a 95% reduction in this error. Not a silver bullet but close. Email beta [at] thinkboxsoftware [dot] com for NDA to sign & access.
