Path and permission (?) problem in OSX

Hi, I’m running two slaves on my Deadline setup. One work the other doesn’t.

The log on the malfunctioning slave has an extra “/” in the filename when it searches for the textures.
It looks correct in the submission form and the project is set. It works fine on the other slave.

When the render is done, I guess without the textures, it says that it has written the file to a directory on
my NAS but it’s not there when you search for it.

My setup is a Netgear NAS NV+ which holds the repository. Then I for now render on a Mac Pro and an iMac.
It is the MacPro that has issues… I have mapped the NAS with the same user from both machines and they
have full admin rights. MacPro runs 10.5.8 and the iMac 10.6.4.

Any ideas?

Which software are you rendering with? It sounds like Maya, but I just want to be sure.

Also, can you send us a render log from a “good” slave and one from a “bad” one? You can view the logs by right-clicking on the job in the Monitor and selecting Job Reports -> View Log Reports. We can compare them to see where they differ (ie: the extra “/”) and see if we can figure out why this is occurring.

Thanks!
