Ping Timed Out

Hi,

on some machines i got the problem that the ping status is on “timed out”.

On other machines with the same Firewall Settings the status on ping is “online”.

I can also ping the timed out machines via cmd from windows.

Any idea?

Hi Sebastian,

Check what is listed in the Machine Name column in the slave list for the slaves that the ping times out for. This is the exact name that Deadline is trying to use when pinging the slaves. Can you confirm that this is the same name you’re using when pinging from the command line?
