I know there was some major work done there, so I don’t think it’s a drop-in sort of affair. I’ll see if I can get more details on this one.
Update: Here’s the mile-high overview of what’s changed:
In all of the submitter’s that have been updated (currently Maya, Max, C4D, AE, Houdini), we have improved the workflow by saving the Pipeline Tools settings (those for Draft, Shotgun, etc) in a local settings store. You can find that store at “Thinkbox\Deadline10\settings\pipeline_tools” on a per-scene file basis using the format of “<APP>_<USER>_<sceneFile>_<Hash of Scene path>”. Because of this, if a scene is moved to a new location or is submitted by a different user, the settings will need to be updated.
When a scene is submitted using the integrated submitter the settings store is checked to see if a there are settings currently saved for the scene file and if there are they will be included with the job. These settings will be included in all submissions of this scene by the current user until they modify the settings. To aid users with this we have added a new label in the submitters to show which Pipeline Tools currently have active settings that will be included.
